Kiel Area Historical Society Membership involves people interested in preserving and expanding Kiel's history. The KAHS house on Fremont Street is furnished with period furnishings and many Kiel area artifacts. Open House tours are given throughout the year. Membership is open to local and out of state people, as well as businesses and corporate memberships. In 2001, Founder's Day was implemented and will continue to be observed annually. Folks interested in a tour can contact any of the officers. KAHS membership is open to all people interested in the history and preservation of Kiel area history.
